This will save two days of in class study The new and revised instructor development course curriculum is 7 days in length when all course curriculum is covered in class split into two parts: PADI Assistant Instructor which is about 3 days and PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) the remainder.  This is reduced to 5 days when candidates complete online independent study.  You can either take the two courses separately or together depending on your time availability.  At IDC Vancouver we offer the full IDC in weekend format including the Emergency First Response Instructor training which is now a mandatory qualification for an OWSI.  The whole course is covered in three Thursday nights and three weekends giving an 8 day equivalent format.
